THE GRINBERG METHOD® “STOPPING MOVEMENT” TRAINING

The sMove! is based on the concept of Stopping Movement developed by the Grinberg Method®. Body awareness becomes instantly accessible through this unique procedure of stopping your movements, following different rhythms, and involving your whole body.

Our bodies have a memory and we tend to stick to what we know, sometimes unconsciously developing patterns that cause us physical or emotional pain. These workouts tap into your body’s ability to break free from habits and repetition, allowing you to get back energy and freedom of movement.

sMove! aims to unify body and mind. By moving different areas of your body in a non-repetitive way you will wake up neural connections and keep your brain agile and young. sMove! was developed in 1995 to help advanced students of the Grinberg Method learn to be relaxed and flexible in their practice and work with clients. We soon realized that the sMove! training would be helpful for people in many different fields and walks of life. So, in 2005 our trainers of the Grinberg Method started offering sMove! classes to the general public. Since then, we’ve established hundreds of sM!ove classes, across six levels, on three continents. Now, through the magic of Zoom, we share this transformative training with people all around the world.
